Fire advance to next round of US Open Cup qualifying

A 40 yard blast from rookie Jalil Anibaba was enough to lift the Chicago Fire past defending MLS Cup champs Colorado Rapids Wednesday night to advance to the next qualifying stage of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Fire home opener shows promise, doubt

Julian Assange and WikiLeaks: Journalism or Crime?

Julian Assange is tough to pin down.

Alan Dershowitz called him a “new kind of journalist.” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called him a “high-tech terrorist.” Others have fallen either somewhere in the middle or somewhere extreme.

But one thing that’s certain is neither the left nor the right can really define the man largely credited for Internet whistleblowing site WikiLeaks.
